She/Her/Hers
Born and raised in Mexico City, I moved to Canada 6 years ago looking for opportunities for a more rewarding personal and professional life. I majored in English literature from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) and worked as a translator and English teacher for more than 10 years. I achieved a degree in Social Service Work here in London at Fanshawe College. My interest in social issues and LGBTQ issues stemmed from my own journey of inner self discovery, and the many connections I made with people in my capacity of teacher and coach of my other personal passions, martial arts and dance. I am a trained martial artist and second degree in the Edged Weapons discipline, but I am also very devoted to arts through singing and writing.
